London : Novak Djokovic delivered a strong response to early adversity on Centre Court, recovering from a shaky start to seize control of his fourth-round match at Wimbledon 2025. Facing Australia’s Alex de Minaur, Djokovic dropped the first set after several uncharacteristic errors, including two double faults. However, the 38-year-old showed his trademark resilience, storming through the second set 6-0 to level the contest.
The Serbian is bidding for a record-extending 25th Grand Slam title and his eighth crown at the All England Club. His second-set dominance underscored his ability to absorb pressure and reassert himself at critical moments.
Meanwhile, Jannik Sinner continues to look nearly untouchable in this year’s tournament. The world No. 1 has not lost a set and has surrendered just 17 games in three rounds—matching one of the best starts to Wimbledon in the Open Era. He takes on Grigor Dimitrov today on Centre Court, seeking a place in the quarterfinals.
On No. 1 Court, Iga Swiatek remains the woman to beat. The world No. 1 moved past Danielle Collins in her previous match and faces Denmark’s Clara Tauson for a quarterfinal berth. Swiatek, who has already lifted the French Open title this season, is targeting her first Wimbledon trophy and has looked composed and confident throughout the early rounds.
Today’s schedule also features several other fourth-round encounters across the men’s and women’s draws as the tournament enters its decisive second week. With Djokovic finding his rhythm, Sinner maintaining a flawless record, and Swiatek in commanding form, the race for this year’s Wimbledon titles is intensifying.
