The ISSF World Cup Shotgun Lonato 2026 witnessed a record participation 600 athletes from 80 countries competing at the renowned Trap Concaverde shooting range in Lonato, Italy, from July 3 to 13.
The shotgun shooting event of the season, has attracted 708 event entries, surpassing last year’s figures of 550 athletes from 74 nations and reaffirming Lonato’s reputation as one of the premier venues in international shooting. The increase in participation highlights the growing popularity and competitiveness of shotgun disciplines ahead of the season’s major championships.
World’s Best Aim for Glory
The tournament will feature an elite field of Olympic champions, world champions and emerging talents, all competing for ISSF World Cup honours in the Trap and Skeet events.
With valuable ranking points and momentum on the line, the event is expected to serve as a key test for many of the world’s leading shotgun shooters as they prepare for the biggest competitions later in the year.
