HAFJELL, Norway: American skiing legend Mikaela Shiffrin clinched her record ninth slalom victory of the 2025-26 FIS Alpine World Cup season on March 24, 2026, at Hafjell.
Shiffrin dominated both runs to finish 1.32 seconds ahead of Switzerland’s Wendy Holdener, securing her 110th career World Cup win. The victory puts her on the brink of a record-equalling sixth overall World Cup title, moving her 85 points clear of Germany’s Emma Aicher with only the final giant slalom remaining.
Shiffrin had already wrapped up the season’s slalom discipline title earlier. Her performance in Norway extended her remarkable dominance, winning nine of the ten slalom races contested this season.
