Sheikh Mansoor Honours Champions as Dubai Premier Padel P1 Concludes in Spectacular Style

A Grand Finale to a Record-Breaking Tournament

The second edition of the Dubai Premier Padel P1 wrapped up at the Hamdan Sports Complex with electrifying energy, sold-out stands, and a showcase of elite international talent. The event underscored the UAE’s growing stature as a global sporting powerhouse.

In an evening filled with celebration, Agustín Tapia and Arturo Coello lifted the men’s title, while Claudia Fernandez and Bia Gonzalez claimed the women’s crown. Gonzalez also earned the Oysho MVP Award, while Tapia secured the DAMAC MVP Award, recognising their exceptional performances throughout the tournament.

Royal Presence Elevates the Occasion

His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council, attended the finals and personally presented trophies to the champions.
Also present was Sheikh Saeed bin Maktoum Juma Al Maktoum, President of the UAE Padel Association, reinforcing the leadership’s strong support for the sport’s growth in the UAE.

The tournament was held under Sheikh Mansoor’s patronage and organised by Gallop Global, in partnership with the Dubai Sports Council, Dubai Department of Economy & Tourism (DET), and the UAE Padel Association (UAEPA).

A Venue Transformed: Making History in MENA

This year’s edition featured one of the most ambitious venue transformations ever seen in regional sport.
The 10-lane Olympic swimming pool at Hamdan Sports Complex was fully converted into a world-class padel arena with seating for 8,000 spectators—now the largest indoor padel venue in the MENA region.

With four professional-grade courts, enhanced media facilities, and expanded fan zones, the 2025 setup demonstrated Dubai’s unmatched ability to repurpose infrastructure for top-tier global events.

Tournament Director and Gallop Global CEO Ivan Modia praised the achievement, calling it “a new benchmark” for international padel and a testament to Dubai’s ambition, innovation, and fan passion.

Global Talent, Global Spotlight

Featuring leading stars from across the Premier Padel circuit, this year’s tournament reflected the sport’s explosive global rise. Dubai’s seamless hosting and electric crowd atmosphere strengthened its growing reputation as a premium destination for major international sporting showcases.

Looking Ahead: Dubai Premier Padel P1 Set for 2026 Return

Following its resounding success, the Dubai Premier Padel P1 is officially set to return in 2026, continuing its role as a flagship event for the Middle East and a key milestone on the Premier Padel global tour.

With world-class execution, transformative infrastructure, and unparalleled fan engagement, Dubai has once again demonstrated why it stands among the world’s most dynamic sporting cities.
