USA Basketball has officially announced the men’s and women’s teams that will represent the country at the 2025 FIBA 3×3 AmeriCup, scheduled from November 27–30 in León, Mexico. The United States enters the tournament with a rich recent history — the women have topped the podium twice (2021, 2023), while the men have claimed gold in three of the last four editions.
Experienced Champions Lead the Women’s Squad
The women’s team brings together a balanced mix of Olympic experience, rising talent and proven 3×3 performers.
The roster features:
-
Allisha Gray – 2020 Olympic champion returning to anchor Team USA
-
Veronica Burton – 2022 U23 World Cup silver medalist and AmeriCup bronze medalist
-
Shakira Austin – standout from the 2024 USA 3×3 development camp
-
Naz Hillmon – set to make her USA 3×3 debut
All four players have previously represented the country in 5-on-5 competitions, with Austin notably winning gold at the 2022 FIBA Women’s World Cup. The blend of veteran calm and fresh energy positions the women’s squad as a strong medal contender once again.
Men’s Team Banks on Chemistry and Consistency
Continuity stands at the heart of the men’s selection. Three members — Henry Caruso, Mitch Hahn and Dylan Travis — reunite after spending the 2025 season together on Team Miami in the FIBA 3×3 World Tour.
They also formed the core of the USA squad at the 2025 World Cup, 2025 Champions Cup, and 2024 AmeriCup, where they secured gold.
Completing the roster is Cameron Forte, who earns his first national team call-up.
Travis, a 2024 Olympian, will be making his seventh appearance for the national team, while Caruso and Hahn bring further stability with multiple years of 3×3 international experience.
Coaching Staff with a Winning Pedigree
The teams will be guided by two accomplished coaches:
-
Christina Batastini (Women): Led the USA to an unbeaten 22-0 run in the 2024 FIBA 3×3 Nations League and later claimed gold at the 2024 U23 World Cup.
-
Will Ferris (Men): A consistent presence in the USA 3×3 program since 2021, Ferris has served as advisor for the 2025 World Cup and worked closely with Team Miami throughout the season.
Their familiarity with USA Basketball’s developmental pipeline and tactical structure adds another layer of confidence to the squads.
Tournament Schedule and What’s at Stake
The women begin their Pool B campaign on November 28, facing Brazil (3:50 p.m. ET) and Jamaica (7:30 p.m. ET).
The men open Pool A on the same day against the Cayman Islands (5:05 p.m. ET) and host nation Mexico (7:05 p.m. ET).
The top two teams from each three-team pool will advance to the quarterfinals on November 30.

The stakes are high: aside from continental supremacy, teams are also competing for a berth at the 2026 FIBA 3×3 Champions Cup in Bangkok.
Conclusion
With a combination of Olympic champions, seasoned 3×3 specialists and exciting new faces, Team USA arrives in Mexico as one of the favourites on both the men’s and women’s sides. Backed by experienced coaching and strong recent form, the American squads will look to extend their dominance in the fast-growing world of 3×3 basketball.
