The 2025 US Open is all set to start from August 25 onwards. This is the last of the Grand Slams this year. The focus will be on two of the finest women’s singles tennis queens in Aryna Sabalenka and Iga Swiatek. Notably, the Belarusian and the Pole have both been part of six Grand Slam finals in women’s singles.

Since making her debut in 2019, Swiatek owns a 100-20 win-loss record at Grand Slams. The Polish star completed 100 wins when she lifted the Wimbledon crown in the final. Swiatek is a six-time Grand Slam winner. She owns a 100% win record in Slam finals. She is also a three-time semi-finalist.
Sabalenka and Swiatek at US Open
Sabalenka is 28-6 at the US Open. She was a runner-up in 2023 and won the title in 2024. On the other hand, Swiatek is 20-5 at the US Open. She won the title here in 2022.
Their Slam performance in 2025
In 2025, Sabalenka reached the final at Australian Open and French Open respectively, but ended up losing both. She was a semi-finalist at Wimbledon. Her win-loss record this season reads 17-3. Swiatek is 17-2 this season. She was a semi-finalist at Australian and French Open before winning the Wimbledon crown.
What is their H2H record in Grand Slams?
The two players have met twice in Grand Slams. Swiatek beat Sabalenka in the semis of the 2022 US Open. Sabalenka returned the favour by beating Swiatek in the semis of 2025 French Open.
