Back home, the Bhubaneswar badminton tournament marked the start of the prestigious All India Public Sector Badminton competition hosted by National Aluminium Company Limited at the KIIT Biju Patnaik Indoor Stadium. The four-day event features more than 200 players from 14 public sector units, coordinated by the All India Public Sector Sports Control Board.
Major PSUs in participation include Coal India, SAIL, BHEL, Oil India, FCI, RBI, LIC, ESIC and others, making this one of the biggest PSU badminton gatherings in the country. This adds another key highlight to the India sports highlights today list.
