Raheem Sterling’s future has become one of the biggest talking points in the January window after reports claimed his representatives are in talks with several top clubs. Sterling linked with Champions League clubs as seven elite European teams have shown interest in the 31-year-old winger, who recently left Chelsea by mutual consent.
According to Sky Sports, Sterling is keen on continuing at the highest level and playing regular football. Tottenham are seriously considering a move, with manager Thomas Frank said to be in favour of signing the experienced attacker.
Tottenham and Burnley join race for the former Manchester City star, while Burnley have also entered the competition. Italian giants Juventus and Napoli are monitoring the situation and could make an approach if terms suit both parties.
Manchester United, meanwhile, have ruled out a summer move for Cole Palmer. United rule out Palmer signing after club officials accepted that the Chelsea midfielder is beyond their financial reach.
Chelsea are also planning a major spending spree and could invest heavily in Jude Bellingham. Reports suggest the Blues are ready to offer around €150 million for the Real Madrid midfielder in the upcoming window.
European clubs push late deals as Ajax move closer to signing Oleksandr Zinchenko, while Chelsea remain in talks with Rennes over defender Jeremy Jacquet. Real Madrid are also keeping an eye on Manchester United full-back Diogo Dalot to address defensive concerns.
Elsewhere, Aston Villa manager Unai Emery has emerged as a possible candidate for the Real Madrid job. In the EFL, Taylor Harwood-Bellis is attracting Premier League interest, while several young players are being targeted on loan.
With the transfer window approaching its final phase, clubs are accelerating talks, and Sterling’s decision is expected to play a key role in shaping the market.
