WPL 2026 auction: Presenting the complete squads of all 5 teams

Deepti Sharma ruled the roost in WPL 2026 auction

The Women’s Premier League 2026 auction was held in New Delhi on Thursday, November 27. A total of 67 players were sold. The 5 teams spent Rs 40.8 crore on players during the event.

UP Warriorz used the Right to Match card for Deepti Sharma, spending Rs 3.2 crore on her. She became the most expensive buy. Amelia Kerr was bought by Mumbai Indians Women for Rs 3 crore. Both players had set their base price at Rs 50 lakh. Meanwhile, veteran Indian pacer Shikha Pandey was a surprise pick for as many as Rs 2.40 crore. She was bought by UP Warriorz.

Among the top unsold names, the likes of Alyssa Healy, Heather Knight, Tazmin Brits and Alana King grabbed attention.

Here we look at the complete squads of all 5 teams in Women’s Premier League.

Delhi Capitals Women

Retained Players: Jemimah Rodrigues, Shafali Verma, Marizanne Kapp, Annabel Sutherland, Niki Prasad.

Players Bought: Chinelle Henry, Shree Charani, Laura Wolvaardt, Sneh Rana, Minnu Mani, Lizelle Lee, Taniya Bhatia, Nandani Sharma, Deeya Yadav, Mamatha Madiwala, Lucy Hamilton.

DC spent most on Chinelle Henry and Shree Charani, spending Rs 1.30 crore each.

UP Warriorz 

Players Retained: Shweta Sehrawat

Players Bought: Deepti Sharma, Sophie Ecclestone, Meg Lanning, Phoebe Litchfield, Kiran Navgire, Harleen Deol, Kranti Goud, Asha Sobhana, Deandra Dottin, Shikha Pandey, Shipra Giri, Simran Shaikh, Tara Norris, Chloe Tryon, Suman Meena, G Trisha, Pratika Rawal.

UPW spent most on Deepti and Pandey, spending Rs 3.2 and 2.4 crore respectively.

Mumbai Indians Women

Players Retained: Harmanpreet Kaur, Nat Sciver-Brunt, Hayley Matthews, Amanjot Kaur, G Kamalini.

Players Bought: Amelia Kerr, Sajeevan Sajana, Shabnim Ismail, Nicola Carey, Saika Ishaque, Triveni Vasistha, Sanskriti Gupta, Nalla Reddy, Rahila Firdous, Poonam Khemnar, Milly Illingworth.

MI Women spent most on Kerr, shelling out Rs 3 crore.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women

Players Retained: Smriti Mandhana, Ellyse Perry, Richa Ghosh, Shreyanka Patil.

Players Bought: Lauren Bell, Pooja Vastrakar, Grace Harris, Arundhati Reddy, Radha Yadav, Nadine de Klerk, Georgia Voll, Linsey Smith, Dayalan Hemalatha, Prema Rawat, Gautami Nayak, Prathyoosha Kumar.

RCB Women spent most on Lauren Bell, shelling out Rs 90 lakh.

Gujarat Giants

Players Retained: Beth Mooney and Ashleigh Gardner

Players Bought: Sophie Devine, Renuka Singh, Bharti Fulmali, Titas Sadhu, Kashvee Gautam, Kanika Ahuja, Tanuja Kanwar, Georgia Wareham, Anushka Sharma, Happy Kumari, Kim Garth, Yastika Bhatia, Shivani Singh, Danni Wyatt-Hodge, Rajeshwari Gayakwad, Ayushi Soni.

GG Women spent most on Sophie Devine, spending a sum of Rs 2 crore.
