UAE Clinch Last Place With Convincing Win
The United Arab Emirates became the 20th and final team to qualify for the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup after a dominant performance in the Super Six stage. Their victory sealed their place in the global tournament, completing the roster of participating nations.
Hosts And Automatic Qualifiers Already In
India and Sri Lanka qualified automatically as co-hosts. In addition, teams that earned direct entry via the 2024 edition’s top finishes or via ICC rankings had already secured their berths.
Regional Qualifiers Fill Remaining Slots
The remaining places were decided through regional qualification tournaments. In Asia–EAP, Nepal and Oman earned qualification. From Africa, Namibia and Zimbabwe secured their tickets by winning the regional finals. In Europe, Netherlands and Italy made it through via the Europe Regional Final.
