Team India pacer Arshdeep Singh has entered record books after reaching 100 T20I wickets. He is the first Indian bowler to reach the milestone. The left-arm pacer achieved the milestone against Oman after clocking figures worth 1/37 from 4 overs in Match No. 12 of the Men’s T20 Asia Cup 2025.
The match in Abu Dhabi saw India win by 21 runs. India posted 188/8 in 20 overs before Oman showed a lot of character and finished on 167/4. India used as many as eight bowlers, but couldn’t get the desired grip. An inexperienced Oman failed to chase the target. Arshdeep, who played his 1st match in the Asia Cup 2025, wasn’t at his best. However, he did get hold of a wicket in the final over of Oman’s innings.
