Bhubaneswar : Eight Indian shooters, led by double Olympic medallist Manu Bhaker, have secured their spots at the ISSF World Cup Final 2025, set to take place in Doha, Qatar, from December 4 to 9. Manu Bhaker impressively qualified in two events—women’s 10m air pistol and 25m pistol.
The Indian lineup also features breakout star Suruchi Singh, who dominated the women’s 10m air pistol with three consecutive golds in World Cup stages, and Olympian Esha Singh, who secured her place with a gold in Ningbo. Former world champion Rudrankksh Patil and Olympian Arjun Babuta qualified in men’s 10m air rifle, while world-record holder Sift Kaur Samra will compete in women’s 50m rifle three positions. Vijayveer Sidhu qualified in men’s 25m rapid-fire pistol, and Simranpreet Kaur Brar rounds off the eight with her spot in the women’s 25m pistol.
The event in Doha promises exciting competition among the world’s best shooters, and India’s strong representation highlights the rising talent in the country’s shooting sports.
