Newcomers join elite field
This season will see Ireland Women and Pakistan Men make their Pro League debuts, having earned promotion from the FIH Hockey Nations Cup 2024-25. Their inclusion adds new rivalries and fresh excitement to the seventh edition of the “League of the Best.”
Road to Los Angeles 2028
The stakes are high with the winners of both the men’s and women’s leagues securing direct qualification for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. The Netherlands men’s and women’s teams will begin their title defence as reigning champions.
Season finale in June 2026
The competition will conclude on June 28, 2026, with simultaneous fixtures in Belgium, Germany and England. Twelve top teams will be in action on the closing day, ensuring a dramatic finish similar to last season, when Spain sealed World Cup qualification in the final match.
10 nations to host
Over seven months, matches will be staged in 10 countries — Ireland, Argentina, China, Spain, Australia, India, England, Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. Each block of matches will feature three teams in a mini-tournament format, offering fans high-quality contests throughout the season.
