Chandigarh :In a proud moment for Indian sports, two students from Chitkara University have brought international glory to the nation with their stellar performances on foreign soil.
Payas Jain, a first-year MBA student, clinched a silver medal in Men’s Doubles table tennis at the WTT Contender Buenos Aires in Argentina, showcasing exceptional skill and determination.Meanwhile, Devika Sihag, a third-year BBA student, etched her name in history by winning India’s first-ever bronze medal in Mixed Team Badminton at the World University Games 2025 held in Germany.
University officials credited these achievements to Chitkara’s world-class training infrastructure, expert mentorship, and holistic student development programs, which enable athletes to balance academic excellence with top-tier sporting performance.
