Jyoti Kanaboor Math, a bright student from Bagalkot district, scored an impressive 83–85% in her Pre-University Course. Despite her determination and academic excellence, financial hurdles threatened to derail her dream of pursuing a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) at BLDE College in Jamkhandi, with a semester fee of ₹40,000 out of reach for her family.
Fate took a turn when Anil Hunashikatti, a local well-wisher, tried to mobilize support by contacting people in Bengaluru. The message eventually caught Rishabh Pant’s attention. Without any fuss or publicity, Pant promptly transferred the full amount—₹40,000—directly to the college, ensuring Jyoti could continue her education uninterrupted.
Expressing deep gratitude, Jyoti shared her hope of becoming a software engineer and one day helping others in need, just as Pant had helped her. Her gesture of appreciation was echoed by the college, which sent a heartfelt letter thanking the cricketer for his timely, personal support.
