The Grueling Challenge of Race Around Poland
The Race Around Poland, which commenced on June 28, 2025, tests the absolute limits of human endurance. It involves cycling around the entire perimeter of Poland, covering a massive 3,600 kilometers with an elevation gain exceeding 31,000 meters. What makes this feat even more remarkable is the race’s format: participants compete solo and completely unsupported, meaning no team cars, no external aid, and no outside assistance along the way. Over 60 international ultra-cyclists vied for supremacy in this demanding event.
A New Benchmark for Indian Cycling
Gwite’s exceptional performance not only secured him a national record but also underscored his incredible dedication and resilience.
