Danny Röhl has urged Rangers FC to keep the mentality of “hunters” in the race for the Scottish Premiership title, even if they move to the top of the table this weekend.
A victory over Dundee United FC on Saturday would send Rangers to the summit for the first time since March 2024.
Three-way title battle
Rangers currently sit in the middle of a tight three-team title race. League leaders Heart of Midlothian FC and third-placed Celtic FC both play their matches on Sunday.
Röhl said that regardless of the standings, his team must maintain the mindset of chasing victories.
The German coach said Rangers want to “hunt wins” and “hunt opponents” as they enter the final seven matches of the campaign.
Strong run of form
Rangers have recorded four wins and four draws in their last eight league games. Röhl, who took charge in October when the club was 13 points off the pace, believes the team has made significant progress.
He said the squad has shown strong development and remains confident it has the quality required to win the title.
Exciting finish expected
With only five points separating the top three sides, Röhl expects a dramatic conclusion to the season.
He added that the close competition has attracted attention across Europe and could produce further twists during the final matches.
Tough test ahead
Rangers have not beaten Dundee United in their previous meetings this season, with both matches ending in 2-2 draws after late goals from the Glasgow side.
Röhl warned that Dundee United will provide a difficult challenge as they still have hopes of finishing in the top six.
