PRAGUE : Belgium’s Nina Pinzarrone delivered one of the standout stories of the 2026 ISU World Figure Skating Championships, clinching her first ever Worlds medal, a bronze, and setting a career-best score despite battling injury all season long.
At the O2 Arena, the 19-year-old’s free skate propelled her from fifth place after the short program into the medal positions, earning her a personal best that captured headlines and hearts in equal measure.
“It’s surreal,” Pinzarrone said after the podium ceremony. “I’ve fought through pain for months to be here — and to stand on the Worlds podium feels unbelievable.”
