India capped off a highly successful campaign at the Track Asia Cup with standout sprint victories from Rojit Singh Yanglem and Celestina, underlining the host nation’s growing dominance in continental track cycling.
Rojit delivered a powerful performance in the men’s 200m sprint, clocking an impressive time in the finals to secure the gold medal. His explosive speed and control through the race helped him outclass a strong field of Asian competitors.
On the women’s side, Celestina matched the feat with a commanding win in the women’s 200m sprint, sealing India’s double triumph in the marquee sprint events on the final day of competition at the SDAT Cycling Velodrome.

India emerged as the most successful nation at the UCI Class-2 Track Asia Cup, finishing at the top of the medals table with an extensive haul across sprint, keirin and endurance events.
