RoundGlass Punjab Hockey Club Academy opened their campaign with an impressive victory on Day 1 of the 3rd Hockey India Sub-Junior Women Academy Championship (Zone A & B), underway in Karnal, Haryana from November 15 to 23.
With top academy teams from across the country competing, the tournament promises high-intensity action and a crucial platform for emerging hockey talent. RoundGlass Punjab, placed in Pool A alongside Citizen Hockey XI, Sports Authority of Gujarat Hockey Academy and Vadipatti Raja Hockey Academy, made a strong statement by securing full points from their opening match.
The championship format awards three points for every win, making early victories vital in shaping the pool standings. With momentum on their side, RoundGlass Punjab will look to carry this early success into the upcoming fixtures as the race for qualification intensifies.
