Montreal has been chosen as one of four global cities to host the final Olympic qualifiers for the 2028 Los Angeles Games. The International Olympic Committee announced on May 7, 2026, that the Canadian city will stage one leg of the prestigious Olympic Q-Series.

The Olympic Q-Series will feature exciting new and urban sports including:

- Skateboarding
