Mumbai: India’s dominance in the latest T20I rankings released by the International Cricket Council has been underlined by the presence of four World Cup-winning batters inside the top 10, reflecting the depth and consistency of the country’s white-ball setup.
Leading the charts is India’s explosive opener Abhishek Sharma, who holds the No.1 position with an impressive rating of 875. Close behind is fellow Indian left-hander Ishan Kishan at No.2, further emphasizing India’s strong opening combination in the shortest format.
India’s presence in the elite group continues with Tilak Varma and Suryakumar Yadav also securing places in the top 10, highlighting the depth of the batting lineup and sustained performances in recent T20 internationals.
Outside the Indian quartet, Pakistan’s Sahibzada Farhan occupies third place, while England’s aggressive opener Phil Salt sits fourth, keeping the competition tight at the top.
In the all-rounders’ list, Zimbabwe’s experienced campaigner Sikandar Raza continues to lead the rankings. India’s Hardik Pandya remains firmly at No.2 with 299 rating points, maintaining his status as one of the most influential T20 all-rounders.
Pakistan’s Saim Ayub sits third, while Nepal’s Dipendra Singh Airee rounds out the top four, showcasing the global spread of talent.
Among bowlers, Afghanistan’s spin wizard Rashid Khan continues to dominate at No.1. India’s mystery spinner Varun Chakaravarthy holds the No.2 spot, while Pakistan’s Abrar Ahmed follows at third. Indian pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah also features in the top 10, ensuring India’s presence across departments.
