Zoe Atkin won bronze in the women’s halfpipe to secure Team GB’s fifth medal of the 2026 Winter Olympics, matching the nation’s record-best haul at a single Games.
The 23-year-old had already guaranteed a podium finish before her final run but produced her best performance under reduced pressure, scoring 92.50 — just 0.5 points short of silver.
Gu takes gold after near miss
China’s Eileen Gu claimed gold with a score of 94.75, adding to her medal collection after two silvers earlier in the Games. Compatriot Li Fanghui secured silver.
Atkin’s composed display ensured Britain equalled its highest-ever Winter Olympic medal tally.
Family milestone for Atkin sisters
The bronze also mirrors the achievement of her sister, Izzy Atkin, who won Team GB’s first Olympic skiing medal with slopestyle bronze at Pyeongchang 2018.
Zoe’s podium finish continues the family legacy — and underlines Britain’s growing strength in freestyle skiing on the Olympic stage.
