India created history at the World Boxing Cup Finals 2025 in Greater Noida, finishing the tournament with a record nine gold medals in a single edition — a feat that marks the country’s strongest-ever performance on the global boxing stage.
The final day turned into a golden sweep led by India’s women boxers, who dominated across weight categories. Minakshi (48kg), Preeti (54kg), Arundhati Choudhary (70kg), and Nupur (80+kg) opened the medal rush with commanding wins. Later in the evening, stars Nikhat Zareen (51kg), Jaismine Lamboria (57kg), and Parveen (60kg) added to the tally with superior tactical and technical displays.
The men’s contingent also contributed with standout victories — Sachin (60kg) securing a flawless 5–0 win and Hitesh (70kg) staging a dramatic comeback to clinch his bout 3–2.
By the end of the tournament, India’s full contingent delivered a podium sweep with 9 gold, 6 silver, and 5 bronze medals, reaffirming the nation’s rising dominance in world boxing.
