Bhubaneswar :The 2025 BWF World Tour, sponsored by HSBC, features 29 elite badminton tournaments culminating in the Grand Finals. The tour is categorized into five levels, with Super 1000 events offering the highest ranking points and prize money, followed by Super 750, Super 500, and Super 300 tournaments. Additionally, the BWF Tour Super 100 serves as the entry-level pathway for emerging players.
Notable winners in 2025 include Shi Yuqi and An Se-young dominating men’s and women’s singles respectively at several Super 1000 tournaments such as the Malaysia Open, All England, and China Open. The Indian Open saw Viktor Axelsen and An Se-young clinch the men’s and women’s singles titles.
The tour is being closely watched with thrilling performances witnessed across categories including men’s doubles, women’s doubles, and mixed doubles, showcasing global badminton talent and intense competition. The series continues with anticipation building toward the World Tour Finals, which will feature the season’s best for a shot at the prestigious title.
