The Indian contingent secured 3 golds, 5 silvers, and 13 bronzes, demonstrating their growing dominance in the global para badminton arena. Gold medals came from standout performers like Nithya Sre in women’s singles SH6, Thulasimathi Murugesan in women’s singles SU5, and the men’s doubles pair Jagdish and Naveen in SL3-SL4. The event, classified as Level 1 on the BWF circuit, witnessed world-class competition, with notable athletes such as Sukant Kadam and Paralympic medallist Krishna Nagar adding to India’s success with silver and bronze medals.
