Welcome to the eighth edition of Sports Science India Fanzine. Thanks to our readers and wellwishers, we have witnessed a remarkable October. Fanzine was part of two esteemed national-level conferences. Over 1,000 hard copies of Fanzine were delivered to these conferences. Fanzine is also being exhibited in Belgium, known for chocolates, waffles and of course football! In this edition, we have a special article about the nuances of strengthening the Gluteus (buttock) muscles. The edition also unfolds the inspiring story of an Indian tennis star, high-profile Chettinad Car club and decodes the science behind wrist injuries among golfers and the concept of ‘athletic brain.’ It is also a tribute to the trailblazer in Indian women’s cricketer, Jhulan Goswami.
