Indian shuttlers Lakshya Sen and HS Prannoy suffered disappointing opening-round defeats at the Malaysia Masters 2026 in Kuala Lumpur.
Lakshya went down in straight games to Indonesia’s Zaki Ubaidillah, while former champion Prannoy lost a hard-fought contest against Japan’s Kodai Naraoka. The early exits marked a tough start for India’s men’s singles campaign in the Super 500 event.
