Katrina Gorry has officially confirmed her departure from West Ham United at the end of the 2025-26 season, bringing an end to her chapter with the Hammers.
The 32-year-old Australian international, who served as captain this season, shared a heartfelt message with fans, saying she felt welcomed from the very first day she arrived at the club.
“I’ve felt at home ever since I arrived,” Gorry wrote. She expressed deep gratitude to the club, her teammates, the coaching staff, and especially the West Ham supporters for their unwavering love and support throughout her time in London.
Gorry joined West Ham in 2023 and quickly established herself as one of the team’s key creative players. Known for her vision, passing range, and leadership qualities, she earned the captain’s armband and played a central role in the team’s midfield. Her performances also helped her maintain her place in the strong Australian national team setup.
While details of her next destination are yet to be confirmed, speculation suggests she could return to Australia or explore opportunities in other top European leagues.
