Fantasy Premier League managers are preparing for the final gameweek of the Premier League season, with differential picks becoming crucial in mini-league battles. With several clubs still fighting for survival, European qualification and momentum, certain low-owned players could make a huge impact in the closing round.
Managers chasing rivals may look beyond the popular picks and target players with lower ownership percentages but strong potential returns. Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool, Burnley and West Ham United all have players attracting attention ahead of the final weekend.
Richarlison backed to shine for Tottenham against Everton
Tottenham forward Richarlison has emerged as one of the most interesting differential options for the final gameweek. The Brazilian striker is currently owned by only 6.4% of Fantasy Premier League managers and could benefit from Spurs’ desperate fight for Premier League survival.
With Dominic Solanke sidelined through injury, Richarlison has taken the main attacking role under Roberto de Zerbi. He has already delivered two goals and one assist in his last four matches while completing full 90-minute appearances in the previous three games.
Tottenham need at least a draw against Everton to almost certainly secure safety, meaning the home side are expected to attack positively in front of their supporters.
Jaidon Anthony and Cody Gakpo become differential options
Burnley winger Jaidon Anthony is another low-owned option gaining attention ahead of the final round. Owned by just 1.9% of managers, Anthony faces a Wolverhampton Wanderers side that has conceded 12 goals in their last four away matches.
Burnley have shown improved performances recently under Mike Jackson, including a draw against Aston Villa. Anthony has already accumulated 125 Fantasy Premier League points this season and could exploit Wolves’ defensive struggles in the final home match of the campaign.
Liverpool’s Cody Gakpo is also viewed as a high-risk but potentially rewarding selection. The Dutch attacker has started every league game since Gameweek 20 under Arne Slot and may again lead the line if Alexander Isak fails to recover fully.
Liverpool host Brentford at Anfield, and Gakpo’s consistent involvement in the starting XI makes him an attractive differential for managers looking to gain late ground.
Jarrod Bowen and Morgan Gibbs-White attract expert backing
Fantasy experts have also highlighted players like Morgan Gibbs-White and Jarrod Bowen as valuable final-week gambles. Statman Dave believes clubs with something major to play for should be targeted heavily by Fantasy managers.
Bowen has been one of West Ham United’s standout performers this season with eight goals and 10 assists. His direct involvement in a large percentage of the Hammers’ league goals has made him one of the most transferred-in players this week.
Meanwhile, Chris Sutton suggested that many Fantasy managers may avoid taking transfer hits late in the season but still face difficult captaincy decisions involving Bruno Fernandes and Erling Haaland.
With only one round remaining, the final Fantasy Premier League gameweek could be decided by bold differential choices and late tactical gambles.
