MotoGP has announced a long-term extension of its broadcast partnership with Austrian network ServusTV, with the new agreement running through the end of the 2030 season.
The Salzburg-based broadcaster has been MotoGP’s exclusive Austrian television partner since 2016 and will continue showing live coverage of MotoGP, Moto2, Moto3 and the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup across TV, digital and mobile platforms.
The renewed deal strengthens MotoGP’s growing media presence in Central Europe and guarantees Austrian fans continued free-to-air access to one of the world’s biggest motorsport championships.
ServusTV has built a strong motorsport portfolio over recent years, already holding rights for Formula 1, DTM, World Rally Championship and World Superbike coverage in Austria.
Matthias Brügelmann, Global Head of Content at Servus Media, welcomed the extension and described MotoGP as a major pillar of the broadcaster’s motorsport strategy. He said the agreement allows ServusTV to continue bringing Austrian audiences “live, free and anytime” coverage of motorcycle racing’s premier competition.
MotoGP’s Head of Media Rights, Alex Arroyo, also praised the partnership, calling ServusTV an important broadcast partner that consistently delivers high-quality coverage and helps grow the sport’s audience in Austria.
The extension comes during a period of significant commercial expansion for MotoGP following Liberty Media’s growing involvement in global motorsport operations. Recent financial reports showed strong momentum for both Formula 1 and MotoGP as international fan engagement continues to rise.
MotoGP is also preparing for major technical regulation changes from the 2027 season, including the introduction of new 850cc engine rules and a switch to Pirelli tyres, making the upcoming years a transformative period for the championship.
Austria remains one of MotoGP’s key European markets, with the Red Bull Ring continuing to host the Austrian Grand Prix under a long-term agreement that also runs until 2030.
The new ServusTV agreement ensures Austrian fans will continue enjoying extensive live race coverage, analysis and behind-the-scenes content throughout the remainder of the decade.
