Getafe, however, absorbed the pressure with discipline. Defender Diego Rico tested the hosts with a cushioned volley that was bravely blocked by Trent Alexander-Arnold.
The breakthrough came in the 39th minute. A headed clearance by Mauro Arambarri fell invitingly to Satriano, who unleashed a thunderous first-time volley past Thibaut Courtois and into the top corner, stunning the Bernabéu crowd.

Real pushed hard after the interval. Arda Güler saw a rising drive tipped over, while Aurélien Tchouaméni and Antonio Rüdiger went close with headers.
Coach Álvaro Arbeloa introduced Rodrygo, Dean Huijsen and Dani Carvajal in a triple substitution, but Getafe’s deep defensive block held firm.
Late drama followed as substitute Franco Mastantuono forced another save from Soria before being shown a straight red card in stoppage time for dissent. Getafe substitute Adrián Liso was also dismissed after picking up a second booking.
