Fulham have turned down Everton’s approach for midfielder Harry Wilson as the club remains firm on keeping the Wales international.
Despite Wilson entering the final months of his contract, Fulham are unwilling to let him leave during the January transfer window.
Head coach Marco Silva has already made it clear that there is “zero chance” of a mid-season sale.
Everton’s Bid and Fulham’s Stand
Everton made their move for the 28-year-old last week, hoping to strengthen their midfield options.
However, the offer was quickly rejected by Fulham, who believe Wilson remains vital to their plans.
The club is focused on stability and does not want to weaken the squad midway through the season.
Wilson’s Key Role at Craven Cottage
Since joining Fulham on loan from Liverpool in 2021, Wilson has developed into a key player.
He has made 173 appearances, scoring 34 goals and providing 43 assists in all competitions.
This season, he has also impressed in the Premier League with eight goals in 23 matches.
Contract Talks and Future Uncertainty
Fulham have made renewing Wilson’s contract a top priority ahead of the summer.
However, discussions are currently on hold due to interest from other clubs.
Wilson is also keen to know Marco Silva’s future plans before committing to a new deal.
