The 3rd Hockey India Sub-Junior Women Academy Championship (2025), Zones A & B, is scheduled to take place from 15th to 23rd November at the Kailash Hockey Stadium in Karnal, Haryana.
A total of 17 academy teams will compete, divided into four pools:

Pool A: Roundglass Punjab Hockey Club Academy; Citizen Hockey XI; Sports Authority of Gujarat Hockey Academy; Vadipatti Raja Hockey Academy; Pritam Siwach Sports Promotion Foundation.

Pool B: HAR Hockey Academy; Ritu Rani Hockey Academy; Hockey Family Badhkhalsa NCR Hockey Society; Tamil Nadu Hockey Academy.

Pool C: Anantapur Sports Academy; Jai Bharat Hockey Academy; Jude Felix Hockey Academy; Sports Hockey Academy of Khalsa, Kolkata.

Pool D: R K Roy Hockey Academy; Khalsa Hockey Academy (Amritsar); Markandeshwar Hockey Academy; Raja Karan Hockey Academy.
Each team will play in a round-robin format within its pool, earning 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, and 0 for a loss.
The top team from each pool will advance to the semi-finals, scheduled for 22nd November, with the final and 3rd/4th place match set for 23rd November.
Hockey India President Dr. Dilip Tirkey emphasized the importance of this championship in building the grassroots pipeline, calling these sub-junior players the “future of Indian women’s hockey.”
Bhola Nath Singh, Secretary-General of Hockey India, added that the tournament strengthens the youth structure and offers vital competitive opportunities for aspiring young female players.
