Dear Readers,

I am delighted to bring you our latest edition, which is as usual a mix of science and sports. Our cover story is about National Open Athletics 100m and 200m sprint champion, Nithya Gandhe. The article tracks down her journey and challenges. Her story is inspiring and something that our readers would love for leisure reading. Moving on, we have addressed the controversy over Manu Bhaker regarding the Khel Ratna nomination. I have expressed my views strongly in the article. But, do you agree to my reasoning? Find out what’s my take on Bhaker’s award controversy. Besides, you have scientific articles about tackling ACL tears and neuroscience in sports and its significance. I owe a heartfelt thanks to all the contributors. I feel privileged to be associated with SSI which constantly thrives upon high quality of service to the athletes. I extend my immense gratitude to a very dedicated team of our contributors for their relentless and untiring efforts. We are indeed indebted to our writers who have spared their valuable time and contributed towards this academic as well as news endeavor. We sincerely hope that the readers will find the articles interesting, relevant and intellectually stimulating leading to building up diverse outlook about contemporary issues.

Regards,
Sarthak Patnaik
