NBA Roundup: Wembanyama’s Record Night Leads Spurs Win

San Antonio Spurs extended their winning streak to nine games as Victor Wembanyama delivered a record-setting performance in a 129-114 victory over the Chicago Bulls.

Wembanyama produced a season-high 41 points and 16 rebounds while recording one of the fastest double-doubles in NBA history. The Spurs star reached 10 points and 10 rebounds in just 8 minutes and 31 seconds, finishing the milestone early in the second quarter.

He shot 17-of-27 from the field, hit three 3-pointers and capped his night with a driving one-handed dunk in the fourth quarter.

Stephon Castle added 21 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds for San Antonio, which had six players score in double figures and led by as many as 29 points. For Chicago, Tre Jones scored 23 points, while Leonard Miller and Collin Sexton contributed 21 and 20 respectively as the Bulls dropped their fourth straight.

Heat rally late to beat 76ers

Miami Heat closed the game on a 14-0 run to defeat the Philadelphia 76ers 119-109.
Tyler Herro scored 30 points, while Bam Adebayo added 23 points and 16 rebounds. Joel Embiid led Philadelphia with 26 points.

Hawks top Celtics at home

Atlanta Hawks extended their home winning streak to 13 games with a 112-102 win over the Boston Celtics.

Onyeka Okongwu and Jalen Johnson scored 20 points each, both recording double-doubles. Jaylen Brown led Boston with 29 points.

Suns cruise past Grizzlies

Phoenix Suns defeated the Memphis Grizzlies 131-105 behind Devin Booker’s 36 points. Jalen Green added 21 as Phoenix pulled away with a decisive fourth-quarter run

Timberwolves rout Mavericks

Minnesota Timberwolves beat the Dallas Mavericks 124-94. Julius Randle scored 24 points, while Anthony Edwards returned from injury to contribute 17. Minnesota moved into sole possession of fifth place in the Western Conference.
