Justin Rose moved closer to his 13th PGA Tour title after extending his lead to six shots at the Farmers Insurance Open on Saturday.

The 45-year-old Englishman followed his opening rounds of 62 and 65 with a steady four-under-par 68 on the challenging Torrey Pines South Course to reach 21-under for the tournament.

Rose has now led from the first round and holds the biggest 54-hole advantage at the event since Tiger Woods’ eight-shot lead in 2008.

Commanding Lead After Three Rounds
American Joel Dahmen sits second on 15-under after posting a five-birdie, one-bogey round of 68.

South Korea’s Sungjae Im, Japan’s Ryo Hisatsune and American Max McGreevy remain in close pursuit, but all trail Rose by at least eight shots.

Despite dropping three shots on the back nine, Rose maintained firm control and avoided any major slip-up.

Dahmen Admits Rose’s Dominance
Dahmen admitted that stopping Rose will be a tough task, joking that only an alarm-clock mishap or wayward shots could derail the leader.

He praised Rose’s consistency and form, suggesting second place may be the realistic target if the Englishman continues at the same level.

Such comments underline the gap in confidence and momentum between the leader and the chasing pack.

Final Round Focus Remains Key
Rose, who was runner-up at the 2025 Masters and won the FedEx St Jude Championship last August, stressed that complacency remains his biggest enemy.

He insisted that full concentration will be required in the final round to convert his advantage into victory.

Meanwhile, five-time major winner Brooks Koepka struggled with a one-over 73 and sits well down the leaderboard, while Ireland’s Seamus Power slipped further back after a disappointing round.
