Shymkent, Kazakhstan : Shooting Spectacle in Shymkent

The 2025 Asian Shooting Championship was a monumental event held at the Shymkent Shooting Plaza in Kazakhstan, attracting 734 shooters from 28 countries. With 164 shooters representing India alone, the competition showcased top-level talent from across Asia in 120 intense events, ranging from youth to senior categories. Shymkent became the hub for shooting excellence for two weeks with competitors battling for glory.

Manu Bhaker’s Stellar Medal Haul

Among the stars was India’s Manu Bhaker, who signed off the championship with a proud haul of three bronze medals. Delivering clutch performances, Bhaker clinched these medals in highly competitive pistol events, demonstrating her consistency and elite skill. Her achievement was a bright moment for the Indian contingent, especially following a muted season prior to this event.

A Promise for the Future

Bhaker’s determination and composure against tough opponents reflect her promise to come back stronger than ever.
