Nepal, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Oman have officially qualified for the men’s cricket competition at the 2026 Asian Games after impressive performances in the qualifying tournament held in Singapore.
The four teams emerged successful from a competitive field and will now join Asia’s leading cricketing nations at the continental showpiece in Japan.

Nepal and Malaysia advanced from Group A, while Hong Kong and Oman secured qualification from Group B after remaining unbeaten during their campaigns. The quartet will join automatic entrants India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and host nation Japan in the main event.
The qualification results complete the lineup for what promises to be a fiercely contested cricket tournament at the 2026 Asian Games, where emerging teams will look to challenge the region’s established powers.
