At the FICCI TURF 2025 Sports Summit, two of India’s most iconic sports figures — PT Usha and Pullela Gopichand — received Lifetime Achievement Awards in recognition of their extraordinary contributions to Indian sport.

PT Usha, often called the “Queen of Indian Track & Field,” was honoured for her decade-long global dominance and role in inspiring generations of athletes.

Pullela Gopichand, former All England Champion and coach of India’s top badminton talent, was recognized for his leadership both on the court and as a mentor to future champions.
