Ronda Rousey Stuns Gina Carano In 15-Second Comeback Victory

Ronda Rousey made a sensational return to combat sports by defeating Gina Carano in just 15 seconds during their highly anticipated comeback fight in Los Angeles.

The former UFC women’s bantamweight champion wasted no time in reminding fans of her dominance, securing victory through her trademark armbar submission in front of a packed crowd at the Intuit Dome.

The bout marked Rousey’s first MMA appearance in several years and was billed as one of the biggest women’s fights in combat sports history. The showdown generated massive global attention, with many fans eager to witness the return of two of the most influential pioneers of women’s MMA.

Rousey immediately took control after the opening bell, quickly closing the distance before taking Carano to the ground. Within seconds, the Olympic bronze medallist locked in the armbar that made her famous during her dominant UFC reign, forcing Carano to tap almost instantly.

The emphatic victory capped a remarkable comeback story for Rousey, who had earlier spoken about proving doubters wrong ahead of the contest. The 39-year-old had not competed professionally in MMA for years following her transition into professional wrestling and entertainment.

Carano, widely regarded as one of the original stars of women’s mixed martial arts, had also returned to the spotlight after a lengthy absence from top-level competition. The fight was viewed as a nostalgic clash between two icons who helped transform women’s MMA into a mainstream global attraction.

The event reportedly shattered previous records for women’s combat sports purses and attracted celebrity attention from across the sporting and entertainment worlds.

Following the victory, Rousey hinted that she may not be done competing and suggested more high-profile fights could follow in the future.
