Bhubaneswar: In a commanding semi-final display at the Rajasthan Polo Club, the Jaipur Polo Team defeated Suhana All Stars 8–4 to book their place in the BM Birla Cup final against Dynamix Achievers.

The star of the match was Lance Watson, the South African ace, who delivered a scintillating performance by scoring five goals to tip the balance decisively in Jaipur’s favor.

Match Flow & Key Moments

From the opening chukker, Jaipur set the tone — Watson struck early in the 2nd and 6th minute, and Vandit Golecha added a third to close out a 3–0 lead in the first period.

The momentum continued in the second chukker, as Jaipur extended their dominance to 5–0 by the halfway mark.

In the third chukker, Jaipur further pushed the lead, adding two more goals before Suhana All Stars mounted a mini revival — Dhruvpal Godara (2) and Segundo Fernandez Llorente (1) struck back.

The final chukker saw each team score once; for Jaipur, HH Maharaja Padmanabh Singh added his goal, bringing his tournament tally to 13.

When the whistle blew, the scoreboard read 8–4 in Jaipur’s favor — a statement win that earns them a shot at the crown.

What Lies Ahead

The BM Birla Cup final is slated for later today at 4:30 PM IST at the Rajasthan Polo Club, with Jaipur Polo Team facing off against Dynamix Achievers.

Jaipur’s path to the final has already been paved with strong tournament victories — they previously clinched titles like the Gen Amar Singh Kanota Cup, Sawai Man Guard Cup, and Chinkara Cup, proving their consistency and pedigree in the polo circuit.
