India’s Tanvi Khanna showcased remarkable determination to win the women’s singles title at the HCL-SRFI PSA Challenger Tour in Mumbai after producing a sensational comeback against Egypt’s Farida Walid on Friday.
The third-seeded Indian looked out of the contest after losing the opening two games, but she refused to give up. Raising the intensity of her game, Tanvi gradually shifted the momentum in her favour before completing a dramatic five-game victory to secure one of the biggest titles of her professional career.

Malaysia’s Mohammad Syafiq Kamal recovered from a two-game deficit to upset Egyptian second seed Yassin Shohdy and clinch the title.
