The 2026 U20 Asian Wrestling Championships are set to get underway in Pattaya, Thailand, bringing together the continent’s most promising young wrestlers for five days of high-intensity competition. Running from July 1 to July 5, the championship will feature contests in Greco-Roman, Women’s Wrestling, and Freestyle, with a total of 120 medals to be awarded across all weight categories.
Traditional wrestling powerhouses India, Iran, Japan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan are expected to lead the medal race, while several emerging nations will also be aiming to make their mark on the continental stage.
