Asian Games 2026 India Medal Winners
The Asian Games 2026 India Medal Winners story has grown rapidly from the shooting range to the athletics track, wrestling-style combat arenas, rowing course and kabaddi court. As of September 26, India has collected 28 medals聽 four gold, 11 silver and 13 bronze. The latest two golds came from the men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 kabaddi teams, completing a golden double against Iran.

India鈥檚 first gold came in women鈥檚 T20 cricket, where India defeated Sri Lanka by 147 runs. India made 216/3, with Smriti Mandhana 79, Shafali Verma 48 and Richa Ghosh 49*, before Sri Lanka were bowled out for 69.
Kamaljeet and Suruchi Singh then won shooting gold in the 10m air pistol mixed team event. They topped qualification with 587-29x and scored 484.6 in the final.
The women鈥檚 kabaddi team defeated Iran 37-34, while the men鈥檚 team completed the golden double with a 40-34 victory over Iran. The men鈥檚 triumph gave India its ninth Asian Games men鈥檚 kabaddi gold.
Asian Games 2026 India Medal Winners: Shooting and Weightlifting
Shooting remains central to India鈥檚 campaign. Elavenil Valarivan, Sonam Maskar and Vidarsa Vinod won women鈥檚 10m air rifle team silver, while Elavenil added individual silver with 252.4.
Rudrankksh Patil, Himanshu Dhillon and Parth Mane won men鈥檚 10m air rifle team silver with 1890.1. Himanshu added individual silver with 252.4, while Rudrankksh won bronze with 230.9.
Raiza Dhillon, Parinaaz Dhaliwal and Maheshwari Chauhan won women鈥檚 skeet team bronze, while Anantjeet Singh Naruka, Mairaj Ahmad Khan and Bhavtegh Singh Gill took men鈥檚 team bronze. Anantjeet and Parinaaz later added mixed-team bronze with 44.
Mirabai Chanu won women鈥檚 49kg weightlifting silver, while Naorem Roshibina Devi took women鈥檚 sanda 60kg silver.
Asian Games 2026 India Medal Winners: Athletics Adds More History
India鈥檚 athletics medal haul includes Gulveer Singh, who won 10,000m silver in 28:29.38, and Sawan Barwal, whose marathon silver came with a national-record 2:11:37.
Poovamma Raju, Vishal Thennarasu, Vithya Ramraj and Manu TS won mixed 4x400m relay silver in 3:14.46.
Seema Kumari won women鈥檚 10,000m bronze, while Manpreet Kaur took shot-put bronze with 17.17m. Baranica Elangovan created history with India鈥檚 first Asian Games pole-vault medal, clearing 4.15m for bronze.

The remaining medals belong to Suchika Tariyal (MMA bronze), Jay Meena (soft tennis bronze), the Indian men鈥檚 badminton team (bronze), Satnam Singh and Salman Khan (rowing bronze), Manush Shah and Diya Chitale (table-tennis mixed-doubles bronze), and Joshna Chinappa and Velavan Senthilkumar (squash mixed-doubles bronze).
India鈥檚 28-medal haul is therefore spread across cricket, shooting, kabaddi, weightlifting, wushu, athletics, MMA, soft tennis, badminton, rowing, table tennis and squash. And with the Games continuing until October 4, the medal story is still being written.
