The Asian Games 2026 India Medal Winners list is already spread across shooting, cricket, weightlifting, wushu, badminton, MMA, soft tennis, rowing and athletics. As of September 24, India has collected 16 medals — one gold, six silver and nine bronze. The latest additions are Seema Kumari’s 10,000m bronze and the mixed-team skeet bronze won by Anantjeet Singh Naruka and Parinaaz Dhaliwal.
India’s only gold so far came in women’s cricket. Harmanpreet Kaur’s side scored 216/3, with Smriti Mandhana making 79 and Shafali Verma 48, before Sri Lanka were bowled out for 69. India won by 147 runs and retained the Asian Games title.
Asian Games 2026 India Medal Winners: Shooting Leads
Shooting has produced eight of India’s 16 medals. Elavenil Valarivan, Sonam Maskar and Vidarsa Vinod won women’s 10m air rifle team silver with 1898.0, behind China’s 1904.2. Elavenil then took individual silver with 252.4, while Japan’s Hinata Taichi won gold with 253.0.
In men’s 10m air rifle, Rudrankksh Patil, Himanshu Dhillon and Parth Mane won team silver with 1890.1. Himanshu added individual silver with 231.0, while Rudrankksh took bronze with 230.9.
The skeet medals followed through Raiza Dhillon, Parinaaz Dhaliwal and Maheshwari Chauhan, who won women’s team bronze with 331. Anantjeet Singh Naruka, Mairaj Ahmad Khan and Bhavtegh Singh Gill took men’s team bronze with 346. Anantjeet and Parinaaz then added mixed-team bronze with 44, behind South Korea’s 51 and China’s 52.

Mirabai Chanu won silver in women’s 49kg weightlifting with a 198kg total — 87kg snatch and 111kg clean and jerk. North Korea’s Ri Song Gum won gold with 215kg.
Naorem Roshibina Devi claimed silver in women’s sanda 60kg. She lost the final 0-2 to China’s Zhang Xiaoyu, who won both rounds 5-0. It was Roshibina’s third successive Asian Games medal after bronze in 2018 and silver in 2022.
In MMA, Suchika Tariyal secured bronze in women’s traditional 60kg, becoming India’s first Asian Games MMA medallist. Her semifinal against Singapore’s Teo Hui Hoon went into overtime and was ultimately decided under the event’s weight tiebreak rule.
Asian Games 2026 India Medal Winners: Badminton, Soft Tennis, Rowing and Athletics
India’s men’s badminton team — Lakshya Sen, Satwiksairaj Rankireddy, Chirag Shetty, Ayush Shetty, Hariharan Amsakarunan and R Arjun Madathil — won bronze after losing 1-3 to China. Satwik-Chirag won their tie 21-11, 22-20, while Lakshya lost 16-21, 18-21 and Ayush lost 19-21, 13-21.
Jay Meena won India’s first Asian Games soft-tennis medal, taking men’s singles bronze after his semifinal against Japan’s Takuya Kurosaka.
Rowers Satnam Singh and Salman Khan won men’s double-sculls bronze in 6:13.25, behind China’s 6:09.77 and Uzbekistan’s 6:10.49.
Finally, Seema Kumari added athletics bronze in the women’s 10,000m with 32:50.05, behind Bahrain’s Winfred Yavi (32:39.18) and Japan’s Nozomi Tanaka (32:41.54).
India’s Asian Games Legacy
Before Aichi-Nagoya, India had won 779 Asian Games medals: 183 gold, 239 silver and 357 bronze across 19 editions. Hangzhou 2023 was the country’s best campaign, producing 107 medals — 28 gold, 38 silver and 41 bronze. With 16 more medals already secured in 2026, India’s all-time tally has now reached 795 medals, including 184 golds, while competition continues until October 4.
