India’s growing list of young chess prodigies has found its newest sensation. Just 2 years and 7 months old, Aishi Gali has delivered an astonishing performance by solving 100 pawn promotion checkmate chess puzzles in only 17 minutes and 1 second, an achievement that has been submitted to the World Book of Records, London, for official recognition.

The record attempt was conducted at Gachibowli, Hyderabad, under the guidance of Roy Chess Academy. Aishi’s initial goal was to complete 75 puzzles within 30 minutes, but she exceeded every expectation by finishing 100 puzzles in almost half the allotted time, highlighting her exceptional pattern recognition, concentration, and chess understanding at an incredibly young age.

A Performance Beyond Expectations

The challenge focused on pawn promotion checkmate puzzles, which require players to identify the correct sequence leading to checkmate after promoting a pawn. Despite the complexity of the task, Aishi maintained impressive speed and accuracy throughout the session.

Her flawless execution demonstrated not only her natural ability but also the effectiveness of her early chess training. Coaches and observers praised her calm approach and consistency during the entire attempt.

Official Verification

The record attempt was supervised and certified by National Chess Arbiter S. Subba Raju, ensuring that all puzzles were solved according to official chess standards. Following the successful completion of the challenge, the documentation has been forwarded to the World Book of Records, London, where it is awaiting formal approval.

If the achievement is officially recognized, Aishi could receive international honours and may also be invited to the British Parliament for a felicitation ceremony.

A New Chapter for Indian Chess

India has earned worldwide recognition for producing world-class chess players over the years, and Aishi Gali’s achievement adds another inspiring story to that legacy. While most children of her age are only beginning to develop basic learning skills, Aishi has already demonstrated extraordinary analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Although she is only at the beginning of her chess journey, this record-setting performance suggests that she could become one of the country’s brightest young talents in the years to come.
