Indian golf star Gaganjeet Bhullar produced a strong finish at the US$2 million International Series Morocco, carding a six-under-par round on the final day. However, it was Hong Kong’s Taichi Kho who emerged victorious, clinching the title at the prestigious Royal Golf Dar Es Salam course in Rabat.
Bhullar Ends Tournament on Positive Note
Bhullar, one of India’s most successful golfers on the Asian Tour, showed resilience and class during the closing round, climbing the leaderboard with a series of birdies. His final-day performance was among the better rounds recorded by the Indian contingent, helping him finish the tournament on a high.
The Indian challenge also featured several experienced names, including Anirban Lahiri and rising talent Karandeep Kochhar, who were part of a strong Indian presence in Morocco.
Kho Secures Biggest Win
Kho held his nerve over four rounds to secure the International Series Morocco crown, adding another major achievement to his growing career. The Hong Kong golfer outlasted a competitive field that included former major champions and leading Asian Tour players.
His victory further strengthens his standing on the Asian Tour and International Series circuit, which serves as a pathway to elite global golf opportunities.
Looking Ahead
While Bhullar fell short of contending for the title, his closing-round surge offers encouragement ahead of upcoming Asian Tour events. The veteran Indian golfer will now shift focus to the remainder of the season as he seeks to add to his impressive tally of international victories.
