Indian golf star Gaganjeet Bhullar will lead the country’s charge into the final round of the International Series Morocco after emerging as the highest-placed Indian on the leaderboard following three rounds at Royal Golf Dar Es Salam in Rabat.
Bhullar produced another steady performance to remain within striking distance of the leaders, keeping Indian hopes alive in the USD 2 million Asian Tour event. While several Indian golfers made the cut, Bhullar’s consistency over the opening three rounds has placed him as the nation’s best performer heading into Sunday’s finale.
The experienced campaigner, an 11-time Asian Tour winner, has once again showcased his ability to navigate challenging conditions on one of Morocco’s most demanding layouts. His efforts have helped him stay inside the top 20, while compatriots including Karandeep Kochhar, Ajeetesh Sandhu and others trail further down the standings.
At the top of the leaderboard, a tightly contested battle is unfolding with international stars vying for the title in the prestigious tournament, one of the flagship events on the Asian Tour calendar.
With one round remaining, Bhullar will be aiming for a strong finish and a late surge up the leaderboard as he seeks to cap off India’s campaign in Morocco on a high note.
