Indian golfer Avani Prashanth faced a challenging outing in the third round of the German Masters 2026, carding a disappointing score that pushed her down the leaderboard heading into the final day.
After showing promise in the earlier rounds, Avani struggled for rhythm during the third round and found it difficult to recover from costly errors across the course.
The Bengaluru golfer mixed a few birdies with multiple bogeys as inconsistent putting and missed fairways affected her progress during the round. Despite the setback, she remains hopeful of finishing strongly in the final round of the Ladies European Tour event.
Avani has been among India’s promising young golfers on the international circuit and continues to gain valuable experience competing against some of the top names in women’s golf.
